About & Benefits of Becoming a Fellow
Our goal is to recognize educators who are committed to emergency cardiovascular care education within their communities.
Our standards for designation as a Fellow of the National Society of CPR Educators™ are developed by healthcare professionals and CPR educators with years of experience in emergency cardiovascular care and CPR instruction.
Instructors who pass the fellow application process receive a wall-mountable certificate, proof of fellow status wallet card, authorization to use the "FNSCE" designation, and access to our fellow logo for email signatures, marketing materials, and more.
FNSCE application requires a one-time nonrefundable payment to the society of $99
Application Periods & Timeline
Application periods run quarterly on a rolling basis and are outlined below.
Q1: January - March
Q2: April - June
Q3: July - September
Q4: October - December
Applications for the current quarter are due on the final day of that quarter by 11:59 pm (March 31st, June 30, September 30, December 31st). Applications received after this date will be reviewed in the following quarter.
Award of fellow designation for selected candidates takes place within 2 weeks of the following quarter start (for example, all applications received in quarter 1 will receive notice of acceptance or denial within the first 2 weeks of quarter 2. Therefore, the award of follow statuses occurs only 4 times per year.
Applicants who are denied fellow status will be notified of their ability to reapply. Certain disqualifying factors result in candidates not being permitted to reapply (including, but not limited to, false or misleading application materials, poor criminal history, and/or application essay plagiarized or not original work). Applicants who are denied fellow status must wait at least one (1) application cycle (quarter) before re-applying.
